About the Role

This position works as part of the operations team with responsibilities in catering, cleaning and maintaining a high standard in the Silver Springs Camp. The key accountabilities of the role are to ensure the safe and sustainable management of the kitchen and camp facilities.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Carry out catering and cleaning duties to a high standard
  • Manage the allocation of rooms in the Camp
  • Participate in Health and Wellbeing initiatives
  • Participate and contribute to the AGL HSE goals
  • Be responsible for managing stock and supplies for the kitchen and camp
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve processes

About You

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A food, cooking or related food handling qualification
  • Experience in a camp catering environment is advantageous
  • Experience working in the resources industry
  • The ability to give and receive input within a dynamic team
  • A strong and positive attitude towards a safe workplace
  • The ability to work a 2 week on, 2 weeks off roster

FIFO may be optional however a local applicant would be preferred
