Communications Lead


The Role:

The Communications Lead will work closely with key internal teams to ensure all change and communications channels are updated regularly with clear, concise and accurate information.

Reporting to the Change & Communications Manager and leading a small team, you will be responsible for planning, managing and continuously improving the communications channels used across our retail teams. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in influencing and managing the communications strategy to ensure that key audiences are receiving what they need from our internal communications channels.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the Communications stream including developing and implementing the Communications strategy and required governance
  • Maintain staff engagement across all delivery channels, ensuring frontline staff are informed of planned activities
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships to ensure quick and concise communication of information impacting our retail teams
  • Prepare and distribute regular & broad communications for Customer Services Leadership Team
  • Ownership and management of ‘Frontline News’ internal site
  • Manage monthly face to face content briefings involving trainer briefings, review and reporting on effectiveness

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Organisational and self management skills including the ability to quickly adjust and to accommodate emerging priorities
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships built on credible performance and collaboration
  • Effective project management skills, with ability to coordinate delivery across concurrent projects
  • The ability to confer with internal stakeholders to come to an agreement that provides optimum outcomes for the business
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working in call centres, operational functions or within Learning & Development functions will be well regarded
