On any given day Business Improvement Specialists across our business:

  • proactively identify, scope and prepare business cases for opportunities to improve processes in conjunction with process owners/managers
  • prepare/review project charters, idea forms and timetables for identified process improvement projects
  • support Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Projects and facilitate workshops to drive DMAIC principles
  • facilitate Kaizens, 5S programs, current state analysis, future state design, gap analysis and transformation roadmaps workshops with project teams
  • implement new improvements to support the strategic direction of the business unit

If you’re the right fit for the role, you’ll likely have:

  • qualifications in project management or process improvement, and ideally a degree in a relevant field such as Engineering
  • experience in delivering improvement programs or projects in an industrial, manufacturing, supply chain or defense environment
  • an analytical mindset and strong stakeholder engagement skills, with an ability to influence effectively
  • you might even be familiar with PM Visio, if we’re really lucky!
