Analytics Lead - ERP Transformation
About the Role
The BI Data Analytics Lead will be responsible for understanding the
business requirements and developing processes for the analytics and reporting solution that supports
business transformation across the entire Programme, providing business context
to the solution to be delivered by the ERP IT Analytics Lead. The role will be
instrumental in defining the analytics and reporting requirements of the
business users impacted by the program across the works management, asset
management, supply chain and procurement management, finance, P&C and
As the Analytics Lead you will coordinate the activities of the Business
Analysts, Data Modellers and Reporting Analysts, prioritising their work to
ensure alignment with the objectives of the Program stream leads and at the
same time ensuring the timely delivery of business value.
- Responsible for the
analytics and reporting strategy across the ERP Programme
- Identify the
existing reports that are required to be migrated and design the migration
strategy and solutions
- Provide expert commentary, insights and thought
leadership into these key metrics and reports
- Work with ERP
Analytics SMEs to understand additional reporting requirements and provide recommendations
on the reporting architecture and solutions for the ERP landscape.
- Build, develop and demonstrate a deep domain
knowledge. Understanding how the business operates and external industry
impacts, and understanding how performance metrics can help address these
issues Design solutions that leverage AGL's data analytical
platforms and are consistent with AGL's data visualisation principles and strategic
- Oversee the data
modelling, report build and deployment and the transition into BAU support.
- Act as a quality
assurance checkpoint for any assets produced from within the team
