Job Summary

Our Civil Infrastructure Business is looking for a highly experienced director to successfully lead our NSW Rail Electrification Team. This role will see you growing our business by developing client relationships, inspiring and mentoring our team, and delivering project outcomes all through technical excellence. Collaborate with the broader AECOM in ANZ and globally to bring the best of AECOM to our clients in NSW.

Responsibilities will include –

  • Drive client engagement activities and feedback.
  • Identify project opportunities early and drive positioning of AECOM to win.
  • Fulfilling key project roles such as OHW Lead, HV / Traction Lead, Lead Verifier, or others on major rail projects.
  • Technical excellence including verification of deliverables
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Workshare coordination across ANZ and Global Design Centres

How will you achieve this?

  • Through building client relationships using personal network and expanding these relationships with colleagues at AECOM
  • Through broad relationship building within the CI business and across senior levels of the Australian business
  • Through extensive collaboration and effective influencing to meet team and project goals and objectives
  • Strong leadership

  • Strong technical acumen and a demonstrable history of success in delivery of projects

  • A person who has built a credible reputation and a position of trust in the market
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
