Team Leader, Water - NSW & ACT

Job Summary

Due to a number of exciting and significant project wins and an internal transfer, AECOM is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our Water team. This presents an opportunity for someone to assume a senior leadership role within the CI NAC business and provide support to a successful team. Reporting to the Group Director - Civil Infrastructure NSW & ACT, the successful applicant will:

  • Lead a team of around 40 water professionals

  • Play an integral role in managing, planning, designing and delivering projects and the services offered by our Integrated Water Planning, Water Infrastructure Delivery, Water Resources and Dams sub-teams

  • Maintain strong relationships with other Team Leaders around major pursuits and resource management and continue the team’s active involvement across multiple end markets.

  • The main responsibilities are consistent with a traditional Team Leader role with priorities around:

  • The full spectrum of people management functions to facilitate the recruitment, engagement and development of high calibre individuals

  • Financial management, including direct responsibility for financial performance of the team

  • Client management, ensuring the team delivers exceptional services and opportunities are leveraged across the business

  • Participating in business and strategic planning to ensure growth of the business in the short, medium and longer term

  • Resourcing within a dynamic environment.
