Senior Transport Planner

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Transport Planner/Engineer to join the ** Infrastructure Advisory team based in Melbourne. The role requires a fundamental knowledge of transport planning and traffic engineering principles **** and **** an appreciation for broader urban planning disciplines. You will be given responsibility for the pursuit and successful delivery of technical work **** , th **** erefore experience in bid preparation, project management and working in multi-disciplinary teams is essential. Development and mentoring of junior staff will be a key component of the role.**

Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in professional services, preferably in consulting and advisory work

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Good technical skills, knowledge and ** experience in transport planning and / or traffic engineering**

  • Experience in bid preparation, project management and the leadership of technical deliverables

  • Proven ability to build, maintain and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients

  • Experience in transport planning / traffic engineering ** projects **** .**

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, urban planning or a related discipline is essential; Postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
