The Role

AECOM's Perth team is seeking the experience of an Senior Rolling Stock Engineer to work on the winning, management and delivery of a range of rolling stock projects across the region. You will provide specialist rolling stock engineering input in projects involving feasibility studies, tender designs, problem oriented projects, operation and maintenance advisory and collaborate with other disciplines associated with delivery of railway projects.

Utilising your technical experience, you will support project teams in the delivery of railway projects for a range of clients. With significant industry experience, you will lead and assist in business development activities from project generation phase through to bid preparation and management.

Working as part of a global organisation, you will collaborate with specialists across the region. You will be given exposure to local, national and international projects.

About You

  • 8+ years' experience in a railway rolling stock engineering role related to the existing or proposed freight and/or passenger railways in WA or wider Australia;
  • Knowledge and of railway rolling stock technical, design, operation and maintenance aspects. This includes freight/passenger locomotives, EMU/DMUs, coaching stock and freight cars of various types.
  • Demonstrated contribution to the delivery of successful railway related projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering;
  • CPEng (or equivalent) – or the ability to obtain.
