Job Summary

Through the current successes of the AECOM Brisbane Water Resources & Coastal Management Team, we are looking immediately to recruit a senior civil/environmental engineer with mine water management experience to be part of and influence the continued growth of our business. As an experienced member of the team, you will provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to develop junior engineers and scientists. You will undertake technical investigations, design and project management for a diverse range of water resource projects with a focus on mine water management assessments and tailings dam safety and compliance management. You will be a key member of our team and contribute to the strategic planning for the Group.

With our focus and strategy of providing multi-disciplinary integrated delivery of water resources services across all industry sectors, we offer a broad variety of office and site-based opportunities. There are several career paths you may follow within AECOM and our aim is to place people in roles that will help both the individual and team to succeed. We encourage your professional and personal development and you will be supported in obtaining your CPEng and RPEQ if you are not already accredited, and receive strong mentoring and support in order to progress your career.
