Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Due to continued growth and involvement in some exciting major projects, AECOM has an opportunity for a Senior Professional Mechanical Engineer to join our established Building Services group. In this role you will provide technical competence in mechanical engineering design for our current and future projects.

The Senior Engineer role plans, manages and ensures technical delivery of projects, resources, budgets and timelines. The key responsibilities include; consulting with project stakeholders, preparation and presentation of design documentation and developing and enhancing relationships with clients, AECOM staff and suppliers.

Reporting directly to the Mechanical Discipline Lead you will be supported by strong leadership and surrounded by a diverse team of engineers. You will also be expected to contribute to the success of the Mechanical Team as well as further enhance the AECOM reputation and brand.

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and be familiar with HVAC and building codes and standards as well as knowledge of design and analysis of mechanical piping and distribution systems including equipment selections.

Preferred Qualifications

Your proficiency in providing Building Services engineering coupled with your experience in working successfully across multidisciplinary teams across a variety of building projects associated with healthcare, education commercial and defence will be highly regarded.
