Project Administrator

Job Summary

AECOM’s Townsville Team has an opportunity for an experienced Project Administrator to join our team. In this versatile role, you will build key relationships with senior managers and technical staff within the Townsville office, managing and supporting project finance needs. You will also be required to support the administration function within the office, utilising your well-developed interpersonal skills.

With exposure to some of the most exciting projects across the region, your role will include:

  • Preparing and processing invoices to clients;

  • Assisting Project Managers with project setup (meeting all financial, HSE, QA and risk requirements);

  • Assisting with raising and processing variations;

  • Provide support in the development of bid proposals;

  • Assist with systems, procedures and policy training for new and existing staff;

  • Providing general administration support across the office (including reception cover.)

Minimum Requirements

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role requiring focus on both administrative and financial support. A financial background, preferably with experience in project finance management within a consulting environment will be highly regarded.

You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player who is able to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines. You will have a strong customer-service focus and ability to remain agile in your approach.
