The Role

Following a recent increase in a number major project wins including Inland Rail and an increase in our long term major project pipeline particularly with Department of Defence, AECOM’s Civil Infrastructure group is looking for a passionate and highly driven Civil Engineer who will set their career on a new trajectory by delivering a wide variety of moderate to major infrastructure projects, establishing and building existing client relationships; and for the right candidate, leading people.

Working with a high performing team of engineers, designers and drafters with a passion for digital delivery, you will source new opportunities and develop client relationships; whilst winning, managing and delivering projects across a diverse range of sectors namely defence, state government advisory, renewables, aviation and municipal infrastructure. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with best-in-industry peers across our organisation to create whole-of-business success for projects in transportation, buildings, environment and construction services.

As part of this exciting role you will not only perform technical Civil Engineering activities, but you will also actively identify opportunities for developing new service offerings, and for the right candidate, mentor and coach a team of engineers.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully winning and delivering Civil Infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary projects
  • Passionate about developing yourself to be a future leader and initiator of our vision to build a better world
  • Love working with people and passion to mentor and lead teams
  • Previous experience with Defence projects highly regarded, but not essential
  • Your ability to deliver on promises and to develop and maintain strong client relationships will be keys to your success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent);
  • CPEng, RPEQ (or working towards)
