IT Network & Systems Engineer

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an IT Network & Systems Engineer that will be responsible for the technical coordination, configuration and implementation/relocation of project site offices and general offices across APAC.

You will have experience with site setup, including solid understanding of network, server, telephony and MFD configurations. This role will be a dedicated resource in the APAC region, based in Brisbane and work from AECOM Brisbane office.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Install, update, deploy network and standalone application licences

  • Engage with local vendors and providers to coordinate deliveries and installations when required

  • Streamline processes to meet regional requirements

  • Be a technical point of contact for project office mobilizations and real estate acquisitions/relocations in the region.

  • Remain engaged with the POM and Real Estate teams to maintain visibility into process and project status.

  • Assist in reviewing and validating technical reports, requirements, business continuity plans provided by AECOMS outsourced partners

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong communication skills are necessary, both written and verbal

  • 8 + years’ experience in a similar role

  • Experience in cloud based services such as AWS advantageous

  • Experience in VDI configuration and support advantageous

  • Occasional travel and after hours work required

  • Able to build strong internal relationships
