Fire System Technician

Job Summary

This role is responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of fire alarm detection and suppression systems at JDFPG, in accordance with all relevant manufacturer specifications and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrated, considerable experience with Fire Alarm Systems NICET II

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.

  • Well-developed communication skills, written and oral.

  • Proven ability to work as an individual and as a member of a team.

  • Well-developed time management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

  • Current drivers’ license.

  • 2 years in facilities and projects related industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fire Alarm Systems NICET III or higher (desirable)

  • Technical trade certificate (desirable)

  • High School Diploma
