The Role

Through the current successes of the AECOM Brisbane Water Infrastructure Team, we are looking immediately to recruit civil engineers with various years of experience to be part of and influence the continued growth of our business. With our focus and strategy on working across all stages of the asset lifecycle, across all industry sectors, we offer a broad variety of office and site-based opportunities. Our strengths and industry leadership are in digital engineering in water and wastewater planning, engineering and construction across multiple sectors, and we have a broad client base across numerous industries.

Our recent work includes significant region wide strategic planning and advice studies, through model building and master planning, to detailed design and construction support. This is across a broad range of potable water, recycled water, irrigation and wastewater network and treatment projects. Our team is currently involved in detailed design of significant mitigation projects for 1840mm diameter rising mains, and recently designed new irrigation systems for Parliament House in Canberra. We support all other AECOM business lines and offices, and also help to develop solutions to support major transport and defence projects including Gold Coast Light Rail, Inland Rail and several Defence Estate projects.

About You

  • 5 years’ minimum relevant professional experience with more senior roles having more;
  • Experience working on water infrastructure projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment;
  • Water and wastewater experience across specific or broader industry asset lifecycle stages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) – essential;
  • RPEQ/CPEng highly regarded
