Our Advisory team works with clients across large privately owned businesses and the public sector in the Northern Territory.

About the role
We are looking for talented and driven individuals at a range of levels to join our Northern Territory Advisory team. As a member of our team you will bring a balance of technical experience and communication and interpersonal skills which will enable you to engage at all levels of an organisation (public and private) around strategic and operational priorities. Not only will we help you grow and develop your skills, you will play an important role in the continued success of our team, and we will invest in our future leaders who show they have the attributes to succeed.

The role will see you:

  • Engaging with senior business and industry leaders internally and externally.
  • Leading a team to understand key business objectives and solutions including development of presentation and deliverable structures and dividing work into manageable pieces
  • Proposing and delivering solutions
  • Effectively facilitating client and community engagement workshops
  • Exploring priorities and opportunities with senior leaders across a wide range of sectors including the private business community, public sector and with peak industry bodies
  • Developing insightful reports which drive real change
  • Dealing with ambiguity and taking clients on a change and transformation journey
  • Diligently working with the team towards achieving project milestones and client deadlines

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll be a natural collaborator with a passion for helping clients solve complex business problems. You will have a tertiary qualification in one of a range of disciplines which include economics, finance, commerce, engineering or the social sciences, combined with strong quantitative skills and experience in using analytical frameworks.

You must have between 2-5 years experience to be deemed suitable for this role.

Candidates with a background in a professional services environment, finance team in commerce or advisory role in the public sector are encouraged to apply.

You may also have:

  • An aptitude for strategy, including experience articulating and applying structure to decision-making processes
  • Familiarity with key commercial business levers
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute and learn in a varied and fast-moving role
  • Proficiency using the MS Office suite (notably Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with private businesses
  • Exposure to or knowledge of the public sector (desirable)
  • A strong desire to work in an advisory role is essential
