Accountant


We are currently recruiting for an Accountant to join our best-in-class finance community on a 12 month fixed term contract based at our offices in Barangaroo. This is a dynamic, fast paced and highly visible role where your experience will be utilised and your talent valued. You will be exposed to senior leaders in the business and will have the opportunity to increase your profile around the broader finance community.

Working with the Accounting and Reporting team for Lendlease’s Australia Construction business, you will support the preparation of monthly, half-year and full-year reports and the annual business plan, provide analysis that helps to improve business performance and meet statutory reporting obligations in accordance with regulatory standards.

You will coordinate with our outsourced business services provider to ensure the general ledger is maintained accurately, including review of P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, investigation and follow up of reconciling items. You will have the opportunity to be involved in process improvement initiatives that add value to our business stakeholders, so a customer service mindset and willingness to take initiative are important for success in this role.

In this role you will continue to evolve your financial reporting capabilities as well develop a direct relationship with senior finance leaders in the business you support and get exposure to key management reporting activities.

Due to the significant amount of stakeholder engagement at all levels, a focus on customer service and value add is paramount to drive success in this role.

Your personal qualities will include a tenacious and positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to build excellent rapport with colleagues and stakeholders alike. You will have an enthusiasm for learning and taking on new challenges, and ideally CA/CPA qualified.
