1Cover has a down-to-earth and open culture, with leaders willing to help you develop. We are looking for a Risk & Compliance Manager who will create a culture of compliance by driving best practice whilst ensuring a pragmatic, practical and commercial approach to the role.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience in risk and compliance roles, ideally in Financial services with a high level of compliance knowledge including ASIC regulations, Corporations ACT, AFSL obligations, Code of Practice and the Insurance Contracts Act
  • Degree level qualification in business or equivalent
  • Experience creating, implementing and managing the compliance framework
  • Experience managing internal and external audits
  • Experience in the management of binder documentation
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate and engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proven record of continuous improvement and finding ways to enhance the function
  • Experience coaching stakeholders as the subject matter expert, ensuring they actively participate in risk and compliance obligations and facilitate training
  • Report writing and analytical skills
