Do you have fears and worries, hopes and dreams about work and its role in your life? A few years ago I was at a career cross-road after a redundancy; keep doing what I had been doing or make a change? Reflecting on 20 years of work, one thing stood out - I loved helping people develop in their roles and find work that satisfied them.
Having experienced the challenges of building a career and role-change, including three lots of maternity leave, I wished I'd had career coaching along the way. I decided to retrain as a coach to focus on my passion and interest in helping people craft their careers and supporting them with their work-life transitions.
I coach with compassion and courage, generosity and integrity, because change is hard, both painful and joyous, and coaching is about enabling positive change. Many of the people I work with are:
- returning to work after a career break
- looking for their next role
- wanting to build self-confidence and assertiveness
- balancing the competing priorities of a busy work-family-life, feeling overwhelmed
- developing leadership and management capability
- facing a difficult career choice
- wanting a career change
- unhappy at work
- impacted by role-redundancy
You will have my unconditional support and encouragement but I will also gently challenge unhelpful mindsets that are getting in the way.
I combine my coaching with the practical tools and resources people often need when crafting a career: strengths, personality and other career assessments, help with Resumes, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, job search strategies, negotiating new roles and job-offers.
Let's start by having a conversation. If we decide I am the right coach for you, we'll work together to explore your career goals, map out next steps and get the most out of your work-life.
