Equilibrium Program participant
Tiffiny Lewin is one of our five successful business women from industries outside of banking and finance taking part in the inaugural round of the Equilibrium Program.
"What's exciting about the Equilibrium Program is the amazing opportunity to learn so broadly in the first year. It's a truly unique pathway that allows me to leverage my 25 year career."
Tiffiny wanted to expand her horizons, but wanted to ensure she could continue to leverage her 25 years' experience driving commercial outcomes and leading teams in the fast moving consumer goods industry. Now part of the Equilibrium Program she can expand her skills and add value in new ways.
"Banking has won me over hook, line and sinker - there is so much amazing work going on to enhance how we help consumers and businesses achieve their goals. I also get to participate in Westpac Group's Employee Action Groups for Women and the LGBTI community, and every event or initiative I get involved in gives me pride, as well as allowing me to connect with and support others in the organisation."
Since joining the Equilibrium program in early 2015, one of the areas Tiffiny has worked in includes the Victorian Commercial team where she has learnt about art and science of banking.
About the Equilibrium Program
Westpac Group is making the move into financial services achievable for women who want to challenge themselves and take a once in a career opportunity to join Australia's first bank. Our Equilibrium Program is an extraordinary opportunity for successful women to challenge themselves and transition into banking.
The creation of The Equilibrium Program reflects Westpac's commitment to gender equality. Proactively attracting and accelerating the professional development of women will help Westpac Group move closer to its aspirational goal to have at least 50% of senior roles held by women.
