There’s a real focus on achievement, but I think the thing that really stands out for me is that Lion really do care about their people. It’s not something that’s made up, it’s not something that they use as a tagline to recruit new people. It’s real.
Lion really do value diverse thinking. Sharing ideas and thoughts is a big part of that. Lion is really open to new ideas and feedback. And it’s really valued.
I’m an External Relations Director in the Beer Spirits and Wine business so I look after media relations, government relations and the regulatory environment. And I work with the community to ensure that Lion maintains its position as responsible marketer.
Sociability goes hand-in-hand with our brands and it’s all about how we do that in a responsible way. So in terms of sociability, Lion are streets ahead of any other company. And it’s about connection. Our products are great at connecting people.
I love what I do. I’ve got two fantastic team members and I love being able to work with them to ensure that they can be the best they can be. I was given really good opportunities so I’d love to help other people have the same success.
